Volunteer
Memorial Hermann Memorial City
Founded in 1971,
the Volunteer Service of Memorial Hermann Memorial City
focuses
on patient comfort. More than 300 community members devote more than
54,000 hours a year to volunteering at Memorial City. The majority
of our volunteers work directly with patients and their families,
providing that extra level of care while
a person is hospitalized.
Volunteers are an
integral part of our health care team. Being a volunteer:
- Adds meaning
to your life
- Gives you the
opportunity to develop new, lasting friendships
- Provides you
a firsthand look at the health care profession
- Helps you accumulate
community service hours for school-related projects and scholarships
