Sharing Clothes With Her Daughters
My heaviest weight was 234 and I'm only 5 foot, 3 inches tall. I had been overweight since I had my daughters 13 years ago. I have struggled so much with my weight. I would loose 30 and gain 50 – and this went on for years. I felt like I would never attain my goal, never have control and never really feel good about my appearance again.
The worst part for me was that my weight struggle unfolded before the eyes of my daughters and I worried so much that I was just a horrible example to them.
Today, I weigh 127 pounds. It has been one year and three months since my surgery. I am still loosing weight, but slowly. I am honestly just two pounds away from my goal weight – it's so unbelievable. My weight fluctuates about five pounds depending on the time of day – but I feel like I have finally gotten control of my problems with food and my struggle with weight.
My work friends were so supportive and encouraged me all the way "down." I get to share jeans and shirts with my teen-age girls now - they brag about me to their friends and are so happy for me. They act like they lost the weight!
