Heart
Health Assessment
Every year, more people
ages 35 to 64 die from cardiovascular disease than from any other cause.
No matter your age, it’s always smart to understand and minimize
your heart disease risk factors.
A great place to start
is Memorial Hermann's Cardiac
Risk Assessment. It's free – a quick registration is all it
takes to find out if you're at risk. Then you can easily keep track of
your health through MyWellness – your
personal health manager. You can also test your heart health knowledge
with our heart
disease quiz.
When you’re ready
for heart health testing, Memorial Hermann hospitals can help. The
Memorial Hermann Wellness Institute also offers executive
physicals and a variety of assessment options, including: resting
EKG, treadmill
stress test and heart
scan (coronary artery screening).
When you know your heart
test results, the Wellness Center has the trained staff and fully equipped
80,000-square foot facility to help reduce your risks of heart disease.
The Wellness Center makes it convenient and practical to participate in
the exercise, nutrition and stress reduction programs that can strengthen
your heart.
