Spanish Radiothon to Benefit Memorial Hermann Children's Hospital

Broadcast set for Aug. 19-20

Houston, Texas, August 16, 2004 -- Memorial Hermann Children’s Hospital, a not-for-profit facility dedicated to providing top-quality healthcare to young patients, will be the sole beneficiary of Children’s Miracle Network’s first Hispanic radiothon in Houston.

The fund-raising event will be broadcast on Univision Radio station KRTX Tejano 980 AM from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 19, and Friday, Aug. 20. All contributions made during the radiothon will be donated to Memorial Hermann Children’s Hospital.

The generosity of supporters helps the hospital achieve its mission of using leading-edge technology in a compassionate environment to meet the healthcare needs of children ranging from tiny, premature infants to adolescents up to age 16.

Children’s Miracle Network is a nonprofit organization that helps young patients by raising funds for 170 children’s hospitals across North America.
