Hermann Fort Bend Hospital Honors Tom DeLay at MRI Center Opening

Hermann Fort Bend Hospital honored Congressman Tom DeLay at an open
house for the new Memorial Hermann MRI Center. The event commemorated
Congressman DeLay's commitment to improving health care services in
the community. His assistance with federal funding made the new MRI
Center at Memorial Hermann Fort Bend possible. Using the latest in MRI
technology, the new scanner allows Memorial Hermann Fort Bend Hospital
to provide state-of-the-art imaging technology.

GE Medical Systems, the new Signa Infinity 1.5T system features
the
most comprehensive clinical capabilities in the industry. It not only
performs routine MRI procedures, such as brain and spine imaging,
it
also has the ability to perform advanced applications like vascular,
cardiac and spectroscopy.
This new Signa Infinity
system features the most advanced magnet technology available today,
which is critical for obtaining excellent image quality. It also was
designed with upgradeability in mind, so that Memorial Hermann Fort
Bend Hospital can continue to offer the latest in diagnostic capabilities
to their patients for years to come.
The new MRI will
be located in the hospital's professional building at 3807 FM 1092 (Murphy
Road) at Highway 6.
