 Our Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center sets the pace, offering a number of therapies to assist in performance improvement and rehabilitation. Our services include:
In-ground pool for aquatic therapy - We are the exclusive provider in Katy of both upper- and lower-extremity aquatic therapy with theSwimEx™ 1000T sports rehabilitation and conditioning pool. This is theonly in-ground pool for aquatic therapy in the Katy area and the only pool capable of handling larger patients.
Vestibular rehab - Memorial Hermann Katy is the only provider in Katy offering Balance Master® interactive technology to assess and retrain sensory and voluntary motor control of balance with visual biofeedback.
Biodex isokinetic strength testing - We are the only provider in Katy offering Biodex isokinetic strength testing. Based on the amount of effort supplied by the patient, the Biodex system provides an accommodating amount of resistance, allowing for safe and efficient strengthening and testing of joints without compromising the healing or surgical repair of an injury.

As a Memorial Hermann provider, Memorial Hermann Katy’s Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center offers expanded patient services at the prestigious Roger Clemens Institute at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, the partner of choice for the Houston Rockets, Houston Comets, Houston Aeros and Rice University Athletics. The Roger Clemens Institute sets the pace for sports medicine protocols, challenging traditional methods and developing new, less-invasive procedures. Facilities at the 11,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art institute include a 3,000-square-foot performance evaluation lab to test athletes’ baseball hitting and pitching, basketball free throw, golf swing and tennis abilities and two Signature Suites for evaluation, treatment and diagnosis, each with a private entrance, separate examination room and private bathroom with shower. |
