Duration
The program can be completed in three months or fewer and classes are scheduled two to three times per year. Next class will be held June 2008. The application deadline is March 31, 2008.

Commitment
The program includes
30 hours of lectures and skills instruction conducted during a 5-week
period in a classroom setting as well as 100 hours of clinical experiences
that will be held in a variety of health care settings.
Classes are held
at Memorial Hermann Technical Education
Center located at 10201-C Katy
Freeway in Houston, just off of I-10 and Gessner near Memorial Hermann
Memorial City. Students will have clinical experiences at one
or more Memorial Hermann facilities.
Tuition
Fees for the program:
$500, includes textbooks and supplies. Incidental expenses such
as parking
fees, meals, transportation and extras are the responsibility of the
student.
Financial Assistance
Students do not
receive a salary or stipend while in the program. The program does not
participate in federally assisted financial aid programs, such as grants
or guaranteed student loans.
Dress Code
Scrubs are required
for clinical experiences and a lab coat may be required.
