Certificate of Competence Requirements

The above objectives will be satisfied by the completion of required educational and clinical competency requirements for the ARRT advanced level CT exam.

Class meets every Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m. to between 8:00 and 9:00 p.m. for didactic instruction. In addition to class work, the students are required to complete a minimum of 508 hours of clinical applications. During their clinical rotations, students will perform and document the requisite number of competencies required by the ARRT for registry eligibility.

The Memorial Hermann CT Program is accredited by the ASRT for 63½ Continuing Education hours (CE points).

In order to receive full credit a student will be required to complete all classroom and clinical components of the program. The appropriate number of hours will be deducted for any missed classes.

All Clinical hours must be completed in order for a student to qualify for any CE points.

Students will be evaluated by clinical staff and receive a clinical grade. Classroom grade will consist of simulated registry exam scores and class work. Course grades will be provided to employees needing grades for tuition reimbursement.

Students will provide documentation of competencies to the school with the required signatures.
