Pharmacy Residencies
Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center

The Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center Department of Pharmacy offers a comprehensive residency program including PGY1 Pharmacy Practice and PGY2 Critical Care residencies.

Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, a 769-bed tertiary care teaching hospital founded in 1925 as the first hospital in the Texas Medical Center, is part of 12-hospital Memorial Hermann system, one of the largest not-for-profit systems in the nation.

Within Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center is Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital, a 178-bed facility providing comprehensive services to a Level III Neonatal Unit and diverse pediatric populations.

Clinical specialists maintain active practices in surgical/trauma, neurosciences, cardiology/cardiovascular surgery, internal medical, transplant, neonatal, and pediatric critical care environments as well as internal medicine and general surgery.

Both Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center and Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital serve as the primary teaching site for The University of Texas Medical School at Houston. The residency program also maintains a relationship with the University of Houston College of Pharmacy, which provides clinical and operational experiences for pharmacy students.
