Walk from Obesity
In September and October in cities all across America, obesity sufferers and survivors alike join forces and walk to raise money for research, education, prevention and treatment of the life-threatening disease of obesity.
Since its inception, the Walk from Obesity has raised more than $1.6 million to support research and educational programs on behalf of all of those affected by this disease.

Time: 7 a.m.–12 p.m.
Registration starts at 7 a.m.
Walk takes place from 7:30-9 a.m.
(Late walkers are welcome to join in at any time)

Entertainment and activities from 7:30 a.m.–12 p.m.
There will be two routes at the walk: 1- and 2-mile tracks. This walk is non-competitive so walkers can set their own pace and goal of how far they want to walk.

DIRECTIONS to Walk Location
Northbound on US 290 (Northwest Freeway)
Exit North Eldridge, turn left on North Eldridge
Take North Eldridge to Clay Road, turn right on Clay Road
Take Clay Road to Bear Creek Drive and turn left
Go straight, and Pavilion 6 will be on your left across from the golf course
Taking I-10 West
Exit North Eldridge and turn right on North Eldridge
Take North Eldridge to Clay Road, turn left on Clay Road
Take Clay Road to Bear Creek Drive and turn left
Go straight, and Pavilion 6 will be on your left across from the golf course
Taking the Beltway to Clay Rd.
Exit Clay Road and go west on Clay Road
Make a left at Bear Creek Drive
Go straight, and Pavilion 6 will be on your left across from the golf course
