This year, Memorial Hermann celebrates a century of breakthroughs in Houston. From modest beginnings with a single hospital in downtown Houston, we have grown into one of the largest not-for-profit healthcare systems in the country, known for world-class clinical expertise, quality patient care, leading-edge technology and innovation.

Over the years, Memorial Hermann has been a leading force in medicine, setting the standards for others to follow in heart and vascular services, neuroscience, orthopedics, pediatrics, women’s health, trauma and emergency care, general surgery and transplantation.

Today, our System encompasses hospitals throughout the region, including specialty institutes in neurosciences, heart and vascular, sports medicine and rehabilitation, along with dedicated centers for imaging, cancer treatment, breast care and wellness programs.
